Granny's is a throwback to a bygone era. The home has been renovated from top to bottom in honor of the host's great-grandmother, Annie Sitton. Just like Granny Sitton, this home is rustic on the outside and polished on the inside with beautiful details such as jeweled doorknobs and a clawfoot tub. Sit back, relax, and sip a sweet tea on the front porch! But if getting out and about is your thing, the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad (Polar Express during the Christmas season), Deep Creek, and Nantahala Whitewater Center are all nearby.
Now to the details... Granny's is a 2 bedroom/1 bath that balances comfort with clean simplicity and is an ideal spot for a winter hideaway, summer vacation, romantic getaway, family reconnection spot, honeymoon, or a writer's retreat.
Whether you hope to explore Bryson City or truly retreat from it all with creature comforts, Granny's is a perfect home base. Guests have access to the entirety of Granny's house and are welcome and invited to use the yard and stream with reasonable caution. Two fishing rods and a tackle box are available for use by guests. Guests should refrain from using the attic pulldown stairs.
